In socialist Yugoslavia, a visionary, but withdrawn and insecure Anka rounds up a group of village housewives knitters. Spanning from the 60’s to the 90’s, connecting a remote Serbian mountain to the fjords of Iceland and the glamorous fashion runways of Paris, together they will struggle against tradition, politics and patriarchy by changing themselves while creating the world famous fashion brand – Sirogojno sweaters.
